8 Rules for Perfect Tab Design
Notice: Tabs look similar to the Navigation Bars we usually find at the bottom but they act very differently. The biggest difference is that Tabs are considered to be related to each other whereas Navigation Bars are not, usually directing you to very different destinations of an app. Some also refer to them as the same thing.
In other words, Tabs organize and allow navigation between groups of content that are related and at the same level of the hierarchy. For example, tabs can present different sections of news, different genres of music, or different themes of documents.
The Do's and Don'ts
-Use a tab bar to organize information at the app level
-Don’t remove or disable a tab when its function is unavailable.
-Avoid having too many tabs.
